GhostSwimmer is a unmanned underwater vehicle of the United States Navy which was introduced for testing in 2014. This "fish drone" (tuna-shaped) is located in the Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek–Fort Story and was developed by Chief of Naval Operations Rapid Innovation Cell.
Specs
[edit]The robot has a length of 5 feet, weighs 100 pounds and reaches a maximum speed of 15 knots. With a speed of three knots, its endurance will be about 66 hours (a range of over 300 miles).[1]
