The Eye of Minds is the first book in a young-adult dystopian science fiction series, titled The Mortality Doctrine. The series is written by James Dashner, the same author who wrote the Maze Runner series and The 13th Reality series. The novel was published October 8, 2013 by Random House.
Plot
[edit]Michael is a gamer living in the future. With the aid of a new invention called the VirtNet, gamers like him can experience full body and mind immersion in a controlled fantasy environment. With all technology comes rules, but when one gamer breaks these rules the government is in dire need of a hacker to stop the attacks. Michael is asked to aid the government in a mad search to destroy the gamer.
