I only ever wrote one article from scratch, the original German version of Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception (Moscow), for a Wikipedia competition back in 2009.
I wasn't even involved with the English translation in any way, but apparently it now qualifies for a Featured article here, so yeah, go check it out if you haven't. It's quite a story.
