My name is Eric. I am 32 years old, was born and raised in Minnesota, attended the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, and served over eight years as a Naval Flight Officer.

In my career, I flew the T-34 Mentor, the T-39 Sabreliner, the T-1 Jayhawk, and the T-2 Buckeye.

Operationally, I flew in the backseat of the F-14 Tomcat. I accumulated just under 500 hours and 153 arrested landings, earning a centurion patch on the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN-69). I participated in Operation Southern Watch and was deployed the morning of the September 11, 2001 attacks on the USS John F. Kennedy (CV-67) off the coast of the Atlantic seaboard.

I also got the chance to fly the Sikorsky SH-60 Seahawk, P-3 Orion, and TH-57, which is a military training helicopter based on the Bell 206 Jet Ranger. I also flew in the back seat of the EA-6B Prowler and the cargo area of the C-2 Greyhound.

My main areas of expertise lie with the military, and aviation in particular. I am also well-versed in music and pop culture from the 1980's onward.
