The investors were the Zeckendorf family and Israeli billionaire Eyal Ofer. In 2012, the building was redesigned into a residential building with 16 apartments by Robert A. M. Stern Architects.The duplex penthouse was purchased by Leslie Alexander, the owner of the Houston Rockets basketball team in 2012, reportedly for US $42 million. Residents have a key to Gramercy Park, a private park.
