Road accidents increasing on Namibian roads

[edit]

The motor vehicle accidents are soon to be the leading cause of death in Namibia. The Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) Fund report shows that during 2010, there were more than 598 fatalities on the roads.[1] During July and December, most accidents are reported. The accidents happen during the weekends and men are reported to be the main cause of accidents. Oshana, Erongo and Otjozondjupa are reported as the wort-affected regions.
