Transparency and Conflict Of Interest:

I'm a graphic designer at McCoy Corporation in San Marcos, now working part-time and nearing retirement. I wasn't asked to submit an article for McCoy's Building Supply. I'm doing this on my own and have researched and gathered sources (both independent and historical) on my own as well.

I've read numerous articles on Wikipedia guidelines for notability, writing from a neutral point of view and verifiability. I hope to complete the article with references soon and submit it in the Draft Space to be reviewed by experienced editors.

Personal Note: I have a journalism degree and learning about the process of submitting and editing articles has been fascinating. I had no idea what went into creating a Wikipedia article before I started this process...I look forward to seeing where this journey takes me.
