I am currently a Senior Associate at Carol Cone on Purpose. I have dedicated my career to creating and executing high impact CSR, sustainability, ESG, philanthropy, shared value and cause marketing programs. I have established CSR departments and built employee and community engagement programs for financial institutions, manufacturers, retailers and non-profit organizations around the world. He combines 20+ years of international corporate and NGO experience with a deep knowledge of communication strategies, value chains and resource efficiency. Prior to my current position, I began the creation of the CSR department at JUUL Labs, but left after a short period of time because of issues the company was facing. Prior that I built the CSR department at Signet Jewelers, the world’s largest retailer of diamond jewelry, enabling the company to dramatically improve its ESG rankings, publish its first CSR report, scale its award-winning responsible sourcing efforts and be recognized as a member of the Bloomberg Gender Equality Index. Prior to this, I was a Vice President in Edelman’s Chicago Business + Social Purpose Practice where I consulted Fortune 500 companies on their corporate responsibility and sustainability strategy, execution, key metrics and building reputational added value. I also served in a CSR leadership role at Bosch Home Appliances in Munich, where among other social impact projects, I assisted the North American division in establishing an apprenticeship program modeled on the German dual-education system. I also helped build Deutsche Bank’s global CSR commitment. I have a BA from Boston College, anMBA from Colorado State University and was a Fulbright Scholar in Germany. I am CSV certified from Harvard Business School, a LEED GA, GRI certified and speak fluent German.
My interest on Wikipedia is initially to ensure there is a page for Carol Cone, one of the most notable business figures in the Purpose and Cause Marketing space over the last three decades. I also am interested in supporting the on-going editing of pages within my areas of expertise.
