About me

[edit]

I am a college student living in Marysville, WA. When I'm bored or just want to relax, I like to do something creative. To begin with, I am a huge fan of cooking. Cooking is one of my strong suits. The foods I like to cook most often are Chinese and African food. My favorite way to relax is by listening to music. Music is most likely to help people deal with anxiety.[1] Sketching is also one of my favorite activities. When I was a kid, I was so passionate about sketching. As time progressed, I became less interested in it. Although I was born in the Gambia, I was raised in the United States. My family and I immigrated to the US when I was 7 years old.

My Wikipedia activities

[edit]

When I want to research a specific subject, I visit Wikipedia. In my opinion, they are very helpful for finding standard definitions of terms. Similarly to everyone else, I use it to keep updated on any interesting information, both technical and non-technical. Moreover, I assess the quality of articles according to the references list and look for additional resources for further exploration. I edit articles on a variety of topics. Editing articles about people, even those who are no longer with us, is something I enjoy doing on Wikipedia. There are a lot of opportunities for students and nonstudents to get involved in Wikipedia. I appreciate you stopping by my user page.

Article evaluation

[edit]

I have been watching My Wife and Kids for the past few years. Keeping my wife and kids in mind, I visited the My Wife and Kids article on Wikipedia and found three aspects of it worth commenting on: its lack of citations, its completeness, and Structure.

Citations

[edit]

Several citations are on the page, but there is not a lot of them. Despite the fact that the sources are listed at the bottom, they aren't cited in the article. As a result, it's difficult to determine whether a given fact is attributed to one section or another. There were some claims in the article that were not supported with evidence. References could have been more current. There are several areas where the article could be improved, such as adding more citations and reliable sources. In addition to these, if other sources exist they should be added to the article. It might be appropriate to include it in the external links section.

Completeness

[edit]

It appears that there is something that has been left out of the Wikipedia article. Despite the fact that the article doesn't even mention that my wife and kids intended the show to be seen by anyone, there wasn't much information about the main topic of the show. You can watch it regardless of your age.

Structure

[edit]

I noticed that some parts of the Wikipedia article were irrelevant when I was reading it. As viewers, we know that in the film industry there are going to be a lot of cameras, so talking about the camera setup is irrelevant.

Conclusion

[edit]

My overall rating for this page is 'okay.' I think the article would benefit from additional information  that was not included on this page. Would be interesting to know more about the network, the writers, and if the series is based on actual events.
