The Ambassador of Sweden to Morocco (known formally as the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to the Kingdom of Morocco) is the official representative of the government of Sweden to the king of Morocco and cabinet of Morocco.
History
[edit]Överenskommelse har träffats mellan svenska och marockanska regeringarna att respektive länders beskickningschefer skall ha ambassadörs ställning, meddelar UD. Överenskommelse har även träffats mellan svenska och tunisiska regeringarna om ömsesidigt upphöjande av respektive länders legationer till ambassader. I anslutning härtill Sveriges sändebud i Rabat, Lennart Petri, utnämnts till ambassadör där.[2]
