Summary:
[edit]When writing about a person, there are a few things to keep in mind. To start, you must make sure the cited sources are neither plagiarized nor paraphrased to the extent that majority of the sentence structure is similar. However, if you must use direct quotations, they must be cited properly and surround by quotation marks. In terms of choosing an appropriate subject, you must make sure that they are many sources available and that these sources are verified, unbiased sources. They must also talk about the subject in a neutral tone, presenting both sides of a topic if applicable. In addition, if there are questionable sources or information about the subject, then they should be disregarded, and not added to the article. When organizing your article, you should keep in mind the following general format of biographies: early life, career, legacy, and publications. In addition to all of the above, the wikipedia guidelines should be strictly followed to avoid mistakes and create valuable content.
