Sachith Wijesekara Sachith Wijesekara (born June 7, 1994, in Colombo, Sri Lanka) is a Sri Lankan human resources executive and entrepreneur, best known as the founder of ImaginaryEye, a photography and videography business. He has gained recognition for his contributions to human resource management and his involvement in various HRIS projects within the LOLC Holdings PLC group.
Early Life Sachith was born to a business-oriented family in Colombo. He has one sister, Sandali Kaveesha, who is also involved in the family business. His upbringing in a business environment nurtured his interest in management and organizational behavior.
Education Sachith attended Ananda College, Colombo, where he excelled in athletics, specializing in the 100m, 200m, and 400m events. He later pursued a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Dublin. Currently, he is enrolled in the Masters in Labour Relations and Human Resource Management Program (MBA) at the University of Colombo, where he is studying subjects such as Industrial Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Employment Law, and Performance Appraisal.
Career Sachith began his professional career in 2017 as a Human Resource intern at LOLC Holdings PLC, specifically within the HRIS team. His responsibilities included engaging with new HRIS implementations and assisting with group recruitment initiatives across various departments, including IT, marketing, and fleet management.
He was promoted to Human Resource Assistant in October 2017 and continued to rise through the ranks, becoming an Executive - Human Resource by January 2020. His significant contributions included developing HRIS modules such as Recruitment Systems, Onboarding, and Benefits Management. As of October 1, 2023, he serves as an Associate Manager in Human Resources, where he focuses on HRIS operations and training.
Entrepreneurship In addition to his role at LOLC Holdings, Sachith founded ImaginaryEye, a venture that combines his passion for photography and graphic design. Through this platform, he has showcased his creative skills and provided services that blend modern aesthetics with practical business needs.
Personal Life Sachith is married to Sachini Kaushalya, a government nurse in Sri Lanka. She was born on October 5, 1997, in Polonnaruwa and is currently pursuing a diploma in counseling and psychology at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. Together, they support each other's professional endeavors while contributing to their respective fields.
