CheerForce Wolfpack
[edit]CheerForce Wolfpack is an All-star cheerleading gym located in Oakville, Ontario. Their programs include competitive cheerleading, recreational cheerleading, tumbling/gymnastic classes and privates, summer camps, P.A. Day camps and birthday parties[1]. CheerForce has 13 cheerleading teams in the 2016/2017 season. CheerForce teams have been travelling to the U.S. All Star Federation, The Cheerleading Worlds every year since 2005, where teams from all over the world come together and compete at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida at the end of every season. They have brought home some titles including 5th place.
The gym is known widely across Ontario for winning in many divisions at several competitions. In 2013, they won 8 divisions at the Cheer Evolution Spring Classic[2].
History
[edit]In the summer of 1999 Chris Hollingsworth, Frank Vurro and Sharon Hollingsworth formed an “All star” team from athletes at T.A. Blakelock and M.M. Robinson High School[1]. Two years later, after winning AmeriCheer Nationals and PCA Nationals, they decided to continue the teams year round. Today, in their 17th season of operation, the gym consists of 13 teams and over 300 athletes.
