The Comics Project is looking around for articles to add to a general improvement drive with the aim of getting more GAs (as well as spotting and improving important article which aren't as good as they should be) and I saw that Pride & Joy (comics) just failed the GA nomination and seems a good candidate for applying some community focus to. If you are interested in going on point then drop a note in here and we'll see what we can do - giving it a polish to it up to standard. (Emperor (talk) 20:05, 16 February 2009 (UTC))

Thanks for the reply - there is no rush (it is easier to fire off my thoughts before something else distracts me ;) ) I just wanted to put out some feelers.
My thinking is that it is usually simpler for someone familiar with the article to lead the GA review so that any tweaks can be done quickly by someone who knows what they are doing. Looking over the GA it seems like it won't need too much to get it through the various hoops and we can get some more eyes on the article to make sure everything is ship-shape. I've also left a few thoughts on Talk: Pride & Joy (comics) about things that could be done to help improve the article (although not all of them need to be addressed for the GA although improving the reception will help and I'll try and dig out the sales estimates and add them in).
So, as I say, no rush - when you are ready drop a note in and we'll see what we can do. All the hard work has already been done, the fine-tuning looks to be straightforward. (Emperor (talk) 20:08, 18 February 2009 (UTC))
OK cool. I'll go fishing for the sales numbers and drop them into the talk page when/if I find them. (Emperor (talk) 22:53, 24 February 2009 (UTC))
Looks solid - I'd say nominate it and post a note on WT:CMC asking for a few more eyes to check things through for a final polish while the review is pending. The only question I have is that there is a link to something on the film adaptation of the Runaways but nothing in the article. If we know that the storyline will be part of the adaptation (which I assume it would) then a mention of that in the article would be good, otherwise I'd remove it until we have more on this. So only a very minor quibble - good luck.
I'll have a look at the Ms. Marvel issue later (I'm just passing through at the moment). (Emperor (talk) 14:00, 6 March 2009 (UTC))
OK glad you found out the answer - I'm still not sure which page we are talking about. (Emperor (talk) 01:38, 8 March 2009 (UTC))

Its always good to see letters of the alphabet still contributing to the wiki. I have seen that you have recently returned. You have of course been here since the beginning because of username so i just want to say keep it up. And that quote that you have on your user page, i will never forget it after seeing it for the first time and its something i always think about as each day goes by.
