Garcia, Garcia S.A. is a family group based in Moreira de Cónegos, Portugal, with over 200 employees, focusing its activity on the Design & Build of Industrial, Logistic, Commercial and Residential buildings.
The family ancestor, Bernardino Garcia, speacialized in the construction of industrial masonry chimneys by 1899. Bernardino passed the testimony to his son Manoel Garcia and later on to his grandson, Augusto Garcia [1] the company founder.
The company launched its first operations in 1970 and was responsible for the construction of several industry units of textiles companies in the Aves valley. By 2004, lead by the 4th generation, it diversified the core business to other industries and areas namely logistics, commercial and residential. This consistent path reinforced its specialization, that was recognized in 2016 by the national prize of best portuguese constructor [2].

[edit]The company was founded by two brothers, Augusto Garcia and Geraldo Garcia in Moreira de Cónegos, North Portugal. The enterprise has started with 10 employees. Today the group has worldwide 200 employees.
