Module:Sports table/ Rugby and the NPC standings tables

Below, I'm using the Module:Sports table/Rugby for the 2022 Bunnings NPC standings tables with both conference tables side by side.

A few problems are noticeable:

  • Having to include the "source" and "status text" under both tables, where once would be sufficient. Ideally, the source and status text are not included under the separate tables, but only once below both tables. However, unlike "Rules for classification", it seems impossible to omit "source" and "status text". If you do, a meaningless template text appears.
  • "Problem messages" appear because "total wins" doesn't correspond with "total losses" and "total points for" doesn't correspond with "total points against". The difference is the result of cross-over games being played between teams from the different conferences. There's no mistake in the numbers, yet you can't get rid of the "problem messages". Fortunately, these messages are not visible when the tables have been published.
  • Currently, as soon as the device width becomes too small for showing both conference tables side by side, a horizontal scroll barr appears. I'd like this to be responsive to screen sizes, with the table on the right shifting below the table on the left as soon as the device screen becomes too small. I don't know how to achieve this. By the way, this issue is not related to the use of the Module:Sports table/Rugby. In the current format, this is also a problem.

I'd be keen to receive suggestions for solving the above problems, and other constructive comments!

These are the same tables as above, but one below the other. The footer is hidden under the first table by using the code |hide_footer=yes.
