Rufus Heathcote
[edit]Rufus Heathcote was born in Edinburgh on 28 November 2007 his parents are Rupert and Louise and has two sisters who are twins called Anna and Clemmie. His dad is Rupert Heathcote who is headmaster at Queen Elizabeth's Hospital Bristol a all boys private school in Bristol. He competed in the 2023 Ten Tors[1] event on dartmoor on the 35 mile route with his team crossing the finish line first. He has a passion for photography[2] and Rugby with him recently enjoying the 2024 rugby tour to South Africa[3], his preferred position is flanker and plays for school and st Brendan's Rugby club[4]. He is Studying History ,Geography, English lit and Photography for A-level. He played trumpet until 2022 reaching grade 4 aswell as singing in the school choir and involved in the 2022 musical 'school of rock'. He also enjoys filmmaking where he won 'the lizzies'[5] (school film competition) best cinematography prize 3 years in a row as well as best overall film. He likes playing cricket and squash and has completed Bronze and Silver DofE.
