I joined Wikipedia in an attempt to contribute to the knowledge base. So far all I have experienced is disappointment and wasted time. It may be easy for those people who are familiar with the process but for those of us learning, with limited time and resources, it would be nice to receive help when requested and some lenience rather then immediate deletion of articles. Why don't moderators make helpful comments/suggestions or even propose an edit? It would make for a much more friendly atmosphere and encourage contribution.

Is putting an article worth all the bother? My present thoughts are that it isn't and that will mean a loss to the community.

Maybe my first impressions will change; we'll see. RtCCA (talk) 22:10, 25 June 2011 (UTC)
