Neo Hazard Games

Neo Hazard Games is a new video game development company based in New Zealand, focusing on creating games that are suitable for low-end computers, 12 year-olds and computers without constant internet access. There has not yet been an official release as it is planned for the public release date of their first game 'Proto Realm' when they can be better established. Their main aims are to be 'EA Alternative' and as said in their title 'Games for the people' and games of minimal budget. As of this time they have no official release games or betas but their first game release (in beta stages) is intended for between 2018 - 2019. They aim to be a community based company.

History

The Idea was first thought of in 2013 as 'Smiley Face Games' when concepts for games first began, such as the earliest planned game 'Fury Past' a general sci-fi battlefield game, and 'Mech Arena' which was intended to be a robot arena game. At that time neither of the founders had any game developer skills and so they went their ways to learn the skills required. Shortly after the website went live it was renamed to Base-Dex Games. Before long they decided the name was not fitting and changed to Neo Hazard Games. There four logos before the current one was decided upon. At this point the game 'Proto Realm' began development originally named 'Equalizer Battles'. Future games will begin development during the development of Proto Realm, thanks to there being two development teams.
