The Lighthouse Montessori Pre-school
The Lighthouse Pre-school is the first International English Language Montessori Preschool in [City, Panama].
The school offers an [Education]> to children from 18 months to 4 years of age, according to the Montessori Philosophy, based on the teachings of [Montessori]>, accommodating up to 72 children located in 4 separate classrooms, served by a team of 15 employees. The language of instruction is English.
The school was co-founded in 2013 by Miriam Morales and Sandy Spaziani, and is owned through Sociedad Morales y Spaziani, an equal partnership.
The idea to launch the school came after extensive research done during visits to 16 of the best known preschools in Panama. It was found that there was a demand from parents who wished for their children to receive an education in the Montessori Philosophy, with focus on education in English rather than Spanish.
The school is located on Calle las Amapolas in Coco del Mar, a neighborhood in Panama City. After extensive remodeling of the existing property, the school first opened its' doors on February 3rd of 2014.
The school is working on its Facebook page which is updated with new material and new pictures regularly.
