Mats Christoffer Aldell (born 24 September 1983) is a Swedish screenwriter and film director [1]. At the age of sixteen, he started production company Aldell Visual Arts in his native country of Sweden. After finishing high school, Aldell produced dozens of shorts, documentaries, and sport-films, as well as receiving a handful of awards for his work, the most notable being Burgerking Extreme Awards [2]. Aldell also created an international following for his trademark "46 films" [3], which consisted of a slew of sport-films with international distribution through Viasat Sport [4]After attending Kalix College for film studies in northern Sweden, Aldell moved to the United States together with fiancee and long-time collaborator/production designer Sandra Larsson for continued film studies at both Fullerton College and California State University Fullerton. Aldell's most recent work include the development of crime/action/dark comedy feature film cockroaches [5] starring Michael Madsen, Tommy Lister, and Luke Massy.
