History
[edit]The creation of Ride comparisons,
Ride comparisons was created by Ben Lirette along with his brother Jacob Lirette, and the occasional appearance of Ben's girlfriend Skye Jackson.
Ben was always searching for adrenaline filled activities and enjoyed theme parks at a young age but never really explored it too much! After trying out what he believed was the biggest adrenaline filled activity "sky diving" he found that theme parks and rollercoasters were the true pinnacle of adrenaline realtered activities.
After taking his brother Jacob to Thorpe park for the first time closely followed by a visit to Alton towers Jacob became completely obsessed and has never been able to stop talking about theme parks and rollercoasters since.
During the first lockdown in the Covid-19 ages Ben was in close capacity to his brother Jacob all day, Jacob is a very big fan of Themeparkworldwide Whom is the number UK theme park Vlogger. Ben thought to himself this guy is getting paid to go and have fun! So the idea of Ride comparisons was born. Shortly after this Ben, Jacob and Skye went to Port Aventura park and attempted vlogging for the first time.
Shortly after this Ben was having a drink with his friends where one of the mentioned that he has to do short format videos, Ben thought to himself "how do you fit theme park videos into one minute?" The next day going to Chessington world of adventures to record the first ever 1 minute theme park video! It was on this day #1minutethemepark was born.
