BURNDY, founded July 19, 1924 under the name of BURNDY Engineering Company in Brooklyn, New York is a global manufacturer of connectors, installation tooling and accessory products for the electrical industry. The BURNDY name is an acronym based on its founder, Dr. Bern Dibner, electrical engineer, industrialist, historian and creator of the Burndy Library (now located in the Huntington Library, San Marino, California, USA).
