Hello, my name is Richard R. Roth. I am a historian and have a particular interest in Eastern Oregon, especially of Hot Lake, Oregon. I am an author of three books on the early days of Hot Lake as well as my most recent book covering the railroad history of Union, Oregon. I realize that when writing for Wikipedia, that there may be a conflict of interest due to my writing the three books on Hot Lake and the other on the railroad history of Union. My objective is to write in a neutral fashion and improve the overall quality of information on Wikipedia.
