Whereas some questions have religious answers or logical answers there have been some questions that have neither. But this is not the case with my question. My question could have both, religious or logical. Many questions could have this, such as why do people use feathers and ink to write on paper? My question is why do guys get on one knee to propose? Some theories could come in handy to answer this question. My first theory is the “submissive theory.” This theory says that the man gets on one knee to show submission to his wife so she doesn't hit him later, when he has too many friends over and they get too excited (although this could still happen). This is a logical answer due to the fact that this has happened many times in the past and has resulted in many divorces and break-ups. The second theory is called the “scared theory,” which tells that the man is terrified of his wife and feels the need to give her power over him (kinda ties back to the first theory). The third theory is the theory of “i'm too drunk to stand” which is when the man couldn’t stand up properly due to too much booze and it has become a tradition over the years. My final theory is the “theory of nervousness,” which is when the man was so scared to look her in the face so he gets on one knee to propose and everyone follows. All this is very logical due to different circumstances and all the theories have good facts and examples, like my dad must’ve kneeled down to my mom due to scariness and submitted to my mom because they are both divorced now. Studies have shown that men are terrified of their fiances in which they kneel down to you All in all, a lesson can be learned from this, always be afraid of your fiance, they get mad very fast and are prone to slapping. My question has many answers and great theories that could explain them and give you a better chance at survival. I know that it's not for dodging your wives, but it works really great (just down get it on our head) so good luck, may God be with your soul. (this is for entertainment purposes only)
