The perika caste is a sub caste of Kshatriyas. They are also called as vermas/perikarajulu/girirajulu/kshatriya perika/chandravamsham rajulu/samantha rajulu. In telangana Perikas are patels/doras/patwaries in Warangal. They are also called as reddy's in some areas in telangana districts.

But people are getting confusions on perika caste becasue they dont have clear idea about perika caste. Most of the senior brahmins know about this caste .
