The József Gruber Reservoir (IPA: [ˈjoːʒɛf ˈgrubɛr]; in Hungarian: Gruber József medence, "József Gruber pool", Gruber József víztároló, "József Gruber reservoir"), also known as Gellért Hill Reservoir (Gellérthegyi víztároló, "Gellért Hill reservoir") is a pair of large water cisterns inside Gellért Hill, in Budapest, the capital of Hungary. Operated by Budapest Waterworks, the reservoir plays an important role in the water supply of South Buda and the city center. Located under the area known as Garden of Philosophers, it is considered the largest such structure in the country.
