Sadly I have stopped contributing, there are far too many would be "editors" who lack knowledge of what they decide to "edit", chop and change in the pursuit of their own personal agendas, seemingly unaware of the significance of removing material which a specialist contributor identified as relevant. Continually having to back-check what "editors" have decided to cut out and then try to defend material against those who live for political correctness is crazy, some of these people should try to contribute something themselves rather than taking the soft option to damage what has been provided by others.
For "editing articles focused mainly on the Royal Air Force during the Second World War, your contributions to many biographical articles in this area and recent work on the epic RAF Bomber Command aircrew of World War II," I have the honor of awarding you this WikiProject Barnstar as an honorable mention in the Military History Newcomer of the Year 2015 vote. I became active here in August 2015 and I am working to get to grips with the Wikipedia way of doing things. I'm interested primarily in Aerial and Naval Warfare of WW2 and also WW1 but I do also follow Military topics of those eras almost as closely. Books dealing with battles involving significant British archery such as the Battles of Crecy 1346, Poitiers 1356 and Agincourt 1415 are regularly on my reading list.
