Maphopha is a place in Ngwaabe forming part of the Greater Tubatse Local Municipality, currently the Fetakgomo/Tubatse Local Municipality having being merged with the Fetakgomo Local Municipality in 2016, under the Sekhukhune District Municipality of the Limpopo province[2]. It is alongside De Hoop Dam (Limpopo).[3]
