This project would be intended to cover the creation and editing of articles related to the Commonwealth of Virginia, its regions, counties, cities, history, geography, and culture. This shall be done through the spirit of cooperation with the end goal of such editing being the production of articles of at least Good Article status, if not Featured Article quality.

First on the Plate

The creation of a Portal:Virginia should be chief among the first works of the project primarily so as to organize existing Virginia articles. This organization will then lead to the identification of articles for improvement or creation.
