Notes for Proxy (climate) article:

  • Is there a source for the 1880's comment/can we find the exact date? It is definitely not tethered to source one
  • Why is there the entire "proxy" section. It seems distracting and does not exactly contribute to the understanding of proxies in this context.
  • There is no section on "speleothems" and how they actually relate to proxy data.
  • Source six does not exist any longer. It was originally a map of ice cores, but the cite does not work anymore.
  • The hyperlink for source 13 does not work--> goes directly to the general CNN website
  • Source 15 is broken-->web page no longer exists---->in proxy paragraph for ice cores, it does not work as a link
  • Source 19 is a duplicate of source 1
