I mainly do on-the-fly edits (some minor, some not), instead of actively seeking out articles to improve. If I've got enough of a wild hair up my...um...(well, you know), I'll dedicate some time to actual research (more prone to this on obscure topics).
I do not actively edit Wikipedia (anymore), but that isn't to say I don't edit at all. I still maintain email notifications, so it's safe to say I'll get messages sent to me through my talk page...there's just no guarantee I'll reply with any amount of swiftness or haste.
The only reason I would not note my ever leaving this account for dead is if I'm actually dead, so just assume I'm reachable (technically), and I edit when I feel like it.
