Manigam (pronounced MANI GAM) is a valley and an administrative district in the Kashmir province of J & K. It is the upper valley of the Sindh River, which rises in the Ganderbal to Srinagar range. The Manigam is united, with its main areas as Mehripora and Durpora. It starts on Manigam byepass to Manigam police station to Main stop Manigam . The valley is almost entirely populated by ethnic Kashmiri. The predominant language spoken in the valley is Kashmiri, while the languages spoken by natives ancestors include Arabic & English. The Manigam is a picnic spot noted for its scenic beauty, covered with the green lush mountains on the bank of Nallah Sindh. It is popular among the tourists for its peaceful environment as it is only one hour drive away from the Srinagar City. The Nallah Sindh has a mesmerizing sound a cool breeze all around during the summer

The village is a base camp for trekkers to the alpine meadows of Mohanmarg and Lalmarg. It is also holds a suspension bridge (18 meters) over Nallah Sindh.[2] A number of restaurants and huts are available for boarding and lodging. The popular tourist activities include fishing of trout,[3] trekking, water rafting, sightseeing and photography.
