Ramileus

The name comes from Gerald Sutton, who in 1988, wrote a 150 page story about his D&D character Ursa Major using pencil and paper, usually under candlelight, to help create the mood. At the age of 13, having just started playing the game Dungeons and Dragons with friends from school, he made up many names for his fantasy world in the story such as Arbelia, Ordavia, and Ramileous. They represented countries in this world.

Over the years the name Ramileous drifted into memory until about 2003, when he started using it to identify himself on the internet in forums and email. It replaced Warspite as his favorite user name. A web page was created by Jerry in 2003 at www.ramileous.com, but was later abandoned because the topics were too deep and wanted to distance himself from them.

Jerry made his own web server in 2005 using a home computer. He wanted to use the ramileous.com domain, However since that domain was owned by Geocities, he used a new domain www.ramileus.com. This server is currently offline.
