- Other historically significant former territorial or state legislators
- Ken Fanning - mostly recognized as the second Libertarian to serve in a U.S. state legislature. Also later served as an appointed member of the Senate as a Republican for a little over a year.
- Bob Giersdorf - his main claim to fame WRT this list was his appointment to the Senate at age 24, from which he was forced to resign. Spent many years as a vice-president of Alaska Airlines. Sources don't necessarily agree on this point, but indicate that while at the airline, Giersdorf conceived the airline's "Eskimo face" logo.
- Blanche McSmith - first African-American legislator in Alaska.
- Russ Meekins, Jr. - father of Drew Meekins, but that's not necessarily relevant to this list. Meekins was one of the youngest-ever members of the legislature, and as majority leader during the 12th State Legislature, was a key player in several of the legislature's most historically significant events.
- John Nusunginya - represented the North Slope for the two terms the House district existed for. While in office, took on the role of the instigator of the Barrow Duck-In, one of the key events leading up to the Native self-determination movement of the 1960s.
- Bobby Sheldon - see Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Robert "Bobby" Sheldon. Best known for building the first automobile in Alaska. Was a pioneer in the transportation/tourism/Mount McKinley Park concession businesses during territorial days, certainly moreso than George A. Lingo. Claimed to be the last living eyewitness to the Shootout on Juneau Wharf, though discussion on that article's talk page indicates that this claim is disputed. Last served in the 4th Alaska State Legislature at age 83, making him one of the oldest-ever members of the legislature.
- (These are just a few - to be completed when I can find the motivation to go through the lists of names involved)
- (Still in progress – last update, June 10, 2013, mostly creating subpages and taking the actual bios off of this page)

Note: Giersdorf's tenure is noted for reference but not included in the rankings. Article II § 2 of the state
constitution states in part "A senator shall be at least twenty-five years of age and a representative at
least twenty-one years of age". During the earliest days of statehood, when the legal climate was largely
untested, Governor William A. Egan appointed Representative Giersdorf to a Senate vacancy despite
him being weeks shy of his 25th birthday. He served as a senator for four days before he was forced to
resign, then returned to his seat in the House several days later when Egan's original appointee to the
House vacancy created by Giersdorf's appointment was appointed to the Senate vacancy instead.
