Unit 22 is a tool I'm using to update italicizations of things like films, television shows, video games and the like (as per the MoS). I'm not really comfortable with calling it a "bot," because it's very crude and does absolutely nothing automatically. I have to feed it which movie/TV show/whatever I want to make sure is italicized, and then it fetches me a list of the articles that link to it that Unit 22 thinks aren't italicized properly.

It's hardly perfect. I get maybe a 10% false positive rate (but most of those are from false positives that need to have their italics fixed in some other way) and I have no idea what my false negative rate is (but it's probably not that high).

I coded it in ColdFusion (it's what I know) over the course of about five hours and it lumbers across the internet from a remote server using the slow <CFHTTP> tag.
