I chose Alexander Skarsgård because he is my favorite actor. I fell in love with his character, Eric Northman, when I first started watching True Blood. I chose to compare the English Wikipedia with the Swedish Wikipedia because Alexander is Swedish. Right off the bat I noticed that his place of birth differs on the pages. The English page says that he was born in Stockholm, whereas the Swedish page states that he was specifically born in Vällingby, which is a suburb of Stockholm. The biography section of the Swedish article is a lot shorter than the English one, in fact, the whole article is a lot shorter. The Swedish article only includes a biography and a filmography, but the English version has sections for personal life, career and awards/nominations. I was surprised by this. I thought the Swedish article would be a lot longer considering he is Swedish-born and has acted in way more Swedish movies and TV shows. The Swedish article doesn't mention that Alexander became uncomfortable with acting and took a break for seven years, either.
