The IRT Boro Hall Shuttle

The IRT Boro Hall Shuttle was a temporarial shuttle that ran from Boro Hall in Brooklyn, to Chambers Street in Manhattan.

The shuttle first opened on March 24th, 1977, and closed on March 30th, 1977, just one month later, the shuttle was a way to get riders from Boro Hall to Chambers Street, as a temporarial substitute for the 2 and 3 trains at the time, because of a track related incident. The designation of the route was the (SS) route bullet.

The shuttle used the Chambers Street local platform, the shuttle was advertised all around Chambers Street and Boro Hall respectively, reading, "SHUTTLE TO CHAMBERS STREET AND BORO HALL", with service change posters as well. Both of these were advertised around trains as well.
