Pusat Latihan Tenaga Pengajar, commonly known as PLTP or pltp was founded on the second of September, 2011. PLTP has received recognition from several public and private center of higher learning in Malaysia to run educational-based programs. PLTP took steps in response to the Malaysian government call to establish a continuous education system[1] by offering various educational programmes that benefits of students who have finished their study: Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM), Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM), Matriculation, Diploma and working people.[2]
Location
[edit]PLTP is situated at Plaza Tanjung Aru, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, approximately 1 km away from Tanjung Aru Beach and 5 km away from Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA). PLTP also has a learning centre in Kuching, Sarawak.
Programmes Offered
[edit]Pusat Latihan Tenaga Pengajar offer nine programmes: Bachelor's Degree in Education, Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration in Human Resource Management, Diploma in Early Childhood Education, , Diploma in Islamic Banking, Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health, Diploma in Communication, Diploma in Management, Certificate in Early Childhood Education [3]
