Greetings, and welcome to my page.

I am a severe weather enthusiast and I'm particularly interested in lightning. I have read many papers on lightning and have discovered that there have been significant findings in this field in only the last few years. Some of these findings challenge, and even outright disprove several aspects about lightning which have been taken for granted by the general public for decades. There is still much to be learned about lightning and I hope to be among the first to find out about any new discoveries on this topic so that I can share it with anyone who shares my enthusiasm.

I'm not a professional writer by any means so please forgive me if I make grammatical mistakes which you may consider to be obvious.

Some of my work on Wikipedia extends outside of meteorology. I am also highly knowledgeable in the field of electrical engineering, and a few other scientific topics as well.

It has come to my attention that large institutions are on a campaign to spread misinformation to the public while passing it off as truth. Some "studies" regarding these topics do not make use of the scientific method as all work attempting to explain objective truths should. People who are not on an ideological crusade who understand the scientific method are able to identify the intellectual dishonesty that is being used, but unfortunately these people have become an extremely small minority in an increasingly polarized world in terms of social and political beliefs. At the same time I understand that Wikipedia does not exist to challenge mainstream beliefs, but only to summarize them based on the available sources, whether they are true or not. As much as I personally want to, I will not attempt to transform Wikipedia into an outlet that challenges misinformation created and supported by mainstream outlets. I will, however, heavily scrutinize certain topics on Wikipedia, and it is not against Wikipedia's policy for me to do this. I urge everyone to actively challenge every belief at all times, no matter how popular that belief is or how powerful those who share that belief are.
