  Chhattisgarh is rich in its cultural heritage. Chhattisgarh has its own dance styles, cuisine and music . The people of chhattisgarh is called CHHATTISGARHI. 
Chhattishgarhi people are also known for their simplicity, Kind hearted ness and adaptability . And this is the actual culture of Chhattisgarh.

  It is musical narration of epic MAHABHARATA. 
  TEEJAN BAI the famous Pandwani artist was awarded PADMASHREE for her contribution.

 It is the folk dance of cowherds.
 
 PANTHI AND SOOWA
 It is a popular dance style.

                 CLOTHES AND ORNAMENTS
                 
The people of chhattishgarh are fond of colours . They wear colourful clothes . Women often wears SAREES with KARDHANI. They wear Mala of one rupee coin or silver coin.
                     The TRIBAL communities of chhattishgarh have a tradition of decorating them selves with ornaments , which is the part of their distinct identity and style.
