Ideas for ResearchBot Functionality
[edit]The bot should automate as many aspects of possible of my little research project, with the intention of lowering the bar for editors / users who may wish to help out. This spot is intended to figure out its desired functionality.
Diff Grabbing
[edit]Getting diff.s three months apart on various articles is a core component of the bot.
- Will have to check that the article has been around for at least x
- Needs to vary the specific date grabs to avoid bias
- should there be some model to vary the age of articles?
- should distinguish / record GA / FA ( / DYK?) milestones
Front End
[edit]- Ideally, should create a form / subpage to allow any editor to 'grade' the article
- Record how many graded by individuals? (motivation / reward etc.)
Results Processing
[edit]- Results stored somehow (duh!)
- Possible Graph functions? - export to other platform?
- Manage 'reviewers'? - eventually some sort of trust rating??
