Born - 8th July 1937 in Christchurch, New Zealand to parents May Hyde[1] and Kenneth Hyde.[2]
Married - 30th September 1966[3] Wife - Judith Ann Hyde (Nee Crameri) Children - Sheldon Leslie Hyde[4], Priscilla Ann Clark (nee Hyde)
BP Port Phillip Marathon Ocean Powerboat Race, Sunday 25th January 1970, 36 Boats started, field reduced to 13 left at one point during the race, Grahame Hyde came in 2nd in "Big Hydee" with a time of 2hrs 21mins 21 Seconds only missed a win by 40 seconds to Norm Jenkins in "Jenk's" who took the win[5].
Grahame Hyde operated Haddon's Hire which later was developed into Haddon's Marina with wife Judith.[6]. The $3 million dollar project Haddon's Marina was officially opened by Sir Joh Bjelke-Petersen in 1986.[7]
Haddon's Marina was sold to Lewis Land for land access to build a bridge over to Ephraim Island and later developed by a Joint Venture with Lewis Land and Mirvac.[8]
