Summary of blocks
[edit]- The first 3-hour block was well received and well done. I got this block because I kept repeatedly posting on another editor's talk page despite being asked to stop posting. This was not a bad block IMHO.
- The second 6-month block, was, IMO, absurd. It was caused by the dramafest at WP:ANI, and witch-hunt. My points about this (absurd) block is noted here. How this block occured is when another editor was posting personal attacks (okay, maybe not personal attacks, but they were expressing negativity), I censored the personal attacks, and then my edits got reverted. So I brought up the issue at WP:ANI, shown here. And I only was asking for others' opinions of if it was a personal attack or not, then drama significantly increased with bans and blocks proposals (and I really probably should have taken the issue to WP:DRN instead of ANI). Finally the block proposal was instigated. And, with only 10 supporters (including 1 opposer), in less than 24 hours, the block was already imposed -- during the night when I was sleeping, and when I woke up, I found myself blocked. Appeals included my mentor's alternate proposal, which had ridiculous opposes. And as well as appealing to ArbCom (which I didn't know that the state of ArbCom is/was GovCom at the time). The reasoning behind this block is unclear or undisclosed.
