Poonam Kumria is an Indian Academician who is the current and 10th Principal of Indraprastha College for Women, University of Delhi.^[1]^[2]^[3]^[4]^[5]

Education

She earned her Ph.D. from Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi and M.Phil. and M.A from Department of Geography from University of Delhi, India.

Career and professional activities

Poonam Kumria earned her Professorship in the year 2019. Prior to joining Indraprastha College for Women in 2023 as its 10th Principal, she served in the Department of Geography, Miranda House for more than a decade in the capacity of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor. Her teaching career started in 1996 as Lecturer in Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, University of Delhi.
