Pokeslob is from the Japaneseポケモン, an abbreviation for "Pocket Monsters," and the English slang term slob, meaning "a person who is lazy." The username was created sometime in the late 1990's or early 2000's as a username unique enough to never require the use of numbers or symbols. Although the term slob often carries the connotation of being dirty or unkempt, Pokeslob is actually quite obsessive about cleanliness, often to the point of annoying his family.
