Getting permission ahead of time
[edit]Hi __Person__, I'm trying to get some background on __subject__ for an online encyclopaedia entry. The text on your site (__URL__) is perfect, so rather than rewriting it, I'd like your permission to republish it verbatim (or with minimal editing). The this would published on Wikipedia, and the page would naturally link back to the original web site. You should be aware that others may *edit* the page, changing its message or its tone, but Wikipedia's standards are very high; defacement is usually corrected within hours by administrators if not immediately by automatic processes. Of course, you are equally free to make changes to the copy on Wikipedia. BUT: Material published on Wikipedia is usually licensed under the GFDL (http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/WP:GFDL). This license is a long read that basically says that anyone can use the text for whatever purpose they want, commercial or non. If you're okay with relicensing the text, please let me know and I'll create the page and notify you of its URL when it's done. I can be reached at __phone__ if you'd like to discuss this voice. Thanks! - __Name__
Getting permission after a copyvio tag has been added

If you're okay with relicensing the text, I'll have the page restored at Wikipedia that was recently removed from the site. You might also want to look at the __related__'s page at __relatedURL__ while you're browsing. Compare the page with some of the other groups listed at __category__ . The one for the __comparison__ is a pretty good example. I can be reached at __phone__ if you'd like to discuss this voice. Thanks. - __Name__
