Biography

Pinaki Mukhopadhyay was born in a Bengali Hindu Brahmin family on 22 November 1970 near Kolkata (Calcutta) and is the youngest son of Sudhamoy and Pratima Mukherjee. On 30 April 1999, he was married to Chaitali Chatterjee (Pritha) of Bhadreswar. He studied from Mahesh Sri Ramkrishna Ashram Vidyalaya (Higher Secondary), Rishra. He graduated from the Raja Peary Mohan College, Uttarpara under the University of Calcutta. Also former student of Indira Gandhi National Open University and NIIT.

Beliefs

He is an ardent devotee of Sri Sri Anandamayi Ma and life member of Shree Shree Anandamayee Sangha in Kankhal, Haridwar. Also follower of Swami Vivekananda and Sai Baba of Shirdi.
