Pictish-mithraism has been used as a User name as it aligns with the main subject offered to Wikipedia. As I have had personally produced diagrams uploaded onto WikiCommons I will note my name there. Longer term I may wish to offer other material as well (all secondary source that relates to a well known forebear) so I plan to use my proper name Norman J Penny in all new material and references.

My interest in Pictish Standing Stones is as an independent scholar.

At a future date I will wish to start a stub on William Penny - the 18th century Arctic whaler and explorer who led an expedition in search of the lost North West Passage exploration team under Sir John Franklin.
