January 15 Seattle meetup
[edit]Just wanted to let you know we are planning another Seattle meetup on January 15, 2005. We're trying to get a sense of who will attend, so please drop by that page & leave a note. -- Jmabel | Talk 05:13, Dec 23, 2004 (UTC)
User categorization
[edit]Greetings, Brassratgirl! Please accept this message as an invitation to categorize your user page in the category Category:Wikipedians in Washington and removing your name from the Wikipedia:Wikipedians/Washington page. The page will be deleted when all users have been removed. Even if you do not wish to be placed in a category, could you take a moment to remove your name from the Wikipedia:Wikipedians/Washington page? Thanks!!
To add your name to the category, please use the tag [[Category:Wikipedians in Washington|Brassratgirl]] to ensure proper sorting.
For more information, please see Wikipedia:User categorisation and Category:Wikipedians by location. -- Roby Wayne Talk • Hist 04:30, 8 September 2005 (UTC)
Belated response
[edit]Sorry it has taken so long for me to notice you asked me a question. I haven't thought of an orderly mechanism to prevent double work. I assume queries shouldn't take so long to answer that a tagging system would be required.

Chambers
[edit]Glad to seewhat are doing on this. Have you checked out what there is about him in the British Biographical Index? I have an original Rees's Cyclopaedia (UK printing) and I am sure there is a biography of him there. I can add this to Wikisource where I seem to spend most of my time these days (and am an adminsitrator). Kind regards Apwoolrich 08:19, 19 November 2005 (UTC)
Jan 2006 Seattle meetup
[edit]I see that right now you are all alone on preferring Jan 21. Is that the only date you can do? I realize you'll be in from out of town. -- Jmabel | Talk 04:42, 22 November 2005 (UTC)

Please look there to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. |
Can you check this out, please.
[edit]Hi, Can you please have a look at Amos Urban Shirk, and if possible check out the New Yorker reference. It reads to me very much like a Nihilartikel. There are too many insubstantiated statements. All the 26 Google hits bar two go back this this WP piece, which has made me suspicious. The two which do not leads to a book Shirk wrote on food marketing. Many thanks. PS, can I interest you in taking part in Wikisource? Apwoolrich 13:24, 17 December 2005 (UTC)
